We want our players to be emotionally as well as physically supported. Sometimes this means playing a player up or down an age group. This is done solely at the Club Head Coach's discretion and a player must meet a criteria laid out by BC Soccer. These include but are not limited to:
Is the player physically safe to play in a different age group, both for themselves and those around them?
Is the player able to handle playing in another age division emotionally?
Will the player have a major effect on the outcome of games playing in another age group?
All of these considerations must be met before a player moving up or down an age division can be approved.
