The Board is a volunteer group elected by members to oversee the governance, finances, policies, and long-term direction of WKFC. The Board focuses on strategy and governance while staff and volunteers deliver programs.

What the Board Does
The Board is responsible for:
- Strategic planning
- Financial oversight and annual budget approval
- Policy development and approval
- Risk management and insurance oversight
- Executive Director oversight
- Committee governance
- Annual General Meeting and elections
- Compliance with BC Soccer and the BC Societies Act
Meeting Frequency
The Board meets approximately every two months with committee meetings happening in between.
Committees include:
- Executive and Finance Committee
- Development Program Committee
- Sponsorship and Fundraising Committee
- Marketing and Communications Committee

Club Members can participate and support the club by:
- Attending the AGM
- Joining a Committee
- Nominating and voting for Directors
- Becoming a Director
Membership through registration and voting rights are established in the bylaws.
